Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Cuotaro processes personal data when users visit the website, request product information, create an account, use the Cuotaro web application, or use a store-distributed version of the same application.
Cuotaro is a business operations application for service businesses. The application is not directed to children and must not be used by minors who cannot validly contract or consent under the law that applies to them.
Identification of the data controller
Jose Ciscar Garcia, with NIF 52746465J and address for notification purposes at Carrer Frare Lluis Amigo, 16 - 8, Torrent (Valencia), Spain, and email address info@cuotaro.com (hereinafter, the Data Controller), is responsible for processing the data provided by the users of the Application (hereinafter, the User or Users).
For Huawei AppGallery submissions, the provider and developer name for Cuotaro is CISCAR GARCIA JOSE. In other app store contexts, Cuotaro may also appear under the publisher name Software GestionPYME. Cuotaro is operated by Jose Ciscar Garcia, the Data Controller identified above.
Personal data processed by Cuotaro
Cuotaro processes the data needed to create and operate a workspace, including account owner and user names, email addresses, password authentication data stored in protected form, account status, language, timezone, settings, support requests and activity history.
The application also stores the operational data entered by the User, such as customer records, contact details, addresses, websites, tax IDs, tags, notes, service requests, quotes, jobs, payments, reminders, files, templates, message content and related attachments.
Technical data may be processed to keep the service secure and working, including IP address, approximate request time, browser or device information, session data, security logs and error information.
Billing and subscription data may be processed when the User manages a paid plan. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored directly by Cuotaro.
Customer data entered by users
Users may enter personal data about their own customers, contacts, employees or business partners. The User is responsible for ensuring that they have a lawful basis to enter and use that data in Cuotaro.
Cuotaro processes that hosted customer data only to provide the application features requested by the User, such as organizing work, generating quote PDFs, sending emails, attaching files, searching records and keeping operational history.
Purpose of processing
The data is processed to register and authenticate users, provide the Cuotaro service, maintain workspaces, generate and send operational documents, provide support, manage trial and paid plans, protect the service from abuse, comply with legal obligations and improve reliability.
Product information requests and support messages are used to reply to the User and maintain the service relationship. Commercial communications are only sent where they are lawful and the User has not opted out.
When analytics cookies are accepted, Cuotaro may use Google Analytics 4 to measure website visits, campaign performance and aggregated events. Google may process analytics data as a service provider according to its own terms and privacy documentation.
Legal basis
The main legal bases for processing are the performance of the service requested by the User, the User's consent where required, compliance with legal obligations, and the legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, reliable and properly administered.
If required data is not provided, or is provided incorrectly, Cuotaro may not be able to create the account, provide the requested feature or maintain the service relationship.
Providers and recipients
Personal data is not sold. Cuotaro does not use personal data for behavioural advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data may be processed by service providers acting on behalf of Cuotaro, including hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, email validation providers such as Kickbox when email validation is enabled, payment and subscription providers such as Stripe, technical support tools, app store providers and professional advisers where necessary.
When analytics cookies are accepted, Google Analytics 4 may process aggregated website analytics data on behalf of Cuotaro.
Data may also be disclosed when required by law, a court, a competent authority, or to protect the security, rights and legitimate interests of Cuotaro, its users or third parties.
International processing
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, Cuotaro will rely on appropriate legal mechanisms or contractual safeguards where required by applicable data protection law.
Security
Cuotaro uses security measures intended to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability, including HTTPS transmission, access controls, protected password storage, workspace separation, backups and operational monitoring.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should keep their credentials confidential, use strong passwords and ensure that they only upload data they are authorized to process.
Although backup copies may be made, Cuotaro is not a substitute for the User's own business continuity and archival procedures. Restoration of data deleted or modified by the User may not always be possible.
Device permissions and app store versions
Cuotaro does not require direct access to the device contacts, SMS, call log, precise location, camera or microphone. The application may open external actions chosen by the User, such as email, phone, maps, WhatsApp, SMS or a website, using the device or browser capabilities.
Files are uploaded only when the User selects them. Store-distributed versions of Cuotaro, including Microsoft Store, Google Play, Apple App Store, Samsung Galaxy Store or Amazon Appstore versions, provide access to the same Cuotaro service and are covered by this policy. The app stores may process their own data under their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
Workspace data is kept while the account remains active or while it is needed to provide the service. Security logs, billing records, support history, backup copies and legal records may be kept for the periods required or permitted by law, accounting, fraud prevention, security or the defence of legal claims.
Users can request account and data deletion from inside the app or from the public account deletion page at https://cuotaro.com/account-deletion/. If an active paid subscription exists, Cuotaro explains how billing and cancellation are handled during the deletion process.
When a verified deletion request is completed, Cuotaro deletes or anonymizes the account and associated workspace data, except for information that must be retained for legitimate legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution reasons.
User rights
Users may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of their personal data by writing to info@cuotaro.com. Users may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Users have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or with the supervisory authority that may correspond to them.
Commercial communications
Cuotaro will not send advertising or promotional communications by email or equivalent electronic means that have not been requested or authorized where consent is required.
Users may stop receiving commercial communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the message or by sending a request to info@cuotaro.com.
Changes to this policy
Cuotaro may update this Privacy Policy when the service, providers, legal requirements or store requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page.
If a change is material, Cuotaro may also notify users by email, inside the application or through another reasonable channel.
